Notes

This chorale survives without text. The text that appears here is the one provided by editors of the Bach Gesellschaft Ausgabe (BGA).

Speculation regarding liturgical occasion: According to Häfner, this chorale may have come from one of three possibly Picander–Jahrgang cantatas:
1) Mein Jesu, was meine, ist alles das Deine for Trinity +9 (Picander 52) with the 5th verse of O Gott, du frommer Gott.
2) Ich bin wie einer, der nicht höret for Trinity +12 (Picander 55) with the 8th verse of the same text.
3) Schöpfer aller Dinge for Trinity +14 (Picander 57) with the 9th verse of the same text.
(See NBA III/2.2 KB, p.301.)
